Tanja Redelinghuys Dr

Dr. Redelinghuys has been my physician for over eighteen years, and I can say without hesitation that she has been the most consistent, respectful, and trustworthy doctor I have ever had. When I first came under her care, I did not trust medicine due to past experiences. Over time, she helped rebuild that trust by treating me as a person involved in my own care, not a problem to be managed. She listens. She takes concerns seriously. She explains. She collaborates. Any time I have needed referrals, she has handled them with care and thoughtfulness. On one occasion, a specialist she referred me to violated my autonomy around consent. When I brought this to her attention, she took it extremely seriously and told me she would look into it. Knowing my physician was firmly on my side medically made a significant difference in how I processed that experience and helped ease the impact of that trauma. Dr. Redelinghuys has a genuinely huge heart, and it shows in how she practices medicine. I feel safe under her care. I feel respected. I feel heard. I would not want anyone else overseeing my health. For me, she is the right doctor in every way.
